3D Printed Fursuit Head Base Custom Order Information

Please read this information before submitting a form, it has quite a bit of information that is very useful :)

So your after a head base that's 3D printed because foam gets everywhere and you don't like it ? - Sounds like me!

My bases are printed from PETG filament which is quite strong, and heat resistant up to 70*C - however please never leave any 3D printed objects in a hot car, they can deform !

3D Printing bases is a great way to have a perfectly even base to start working with you can add foam with hot glue to make rounder cheeks, ears, fluffs- whatever you like- the base is simply a great starting point!

The bases are not smooth and beautiful - nope, they are "smooth" for a 3D print, I lightly sand the edges just to remove any excess supports from printing - You will need to sand down the rim if you find it rough

Your base will be printed in separate parts and hot glued together, my printer doesn't have the largest printing bed in the world - which means I split my models into parts - If you look on my tik tok you will see the head bases usually printed 2 - 4 parts depending on the model

With that all being said let's jump into the fun stuff!

How do I pay?

Simple, once I have had a chat with you and happy to print the base I will ask for the full amount to be paid upfront, this will be a custom listing and also apply the $16 tracked postage at the checkout!

I will let you know what the current que is for printing, the faster you pay, the quicker I get printing!

(So please don't fill out the form and then just ghost me, I use telegram and Instagram to message you so I see if the message has been read, I am a ghost buster, ghost me once and you'll never get to order from me again!)

How much will this cost?

- At the absolute max $100, I aim to keep the prices lower than those on etsy, that way fursuit bases are more affordable- however if you pick a detailed base the print time goes up, material cost and overall cost

If the model you have chosen I don't own and need the purchase this cost will be added onto the commission quote - If the model is very expensive the price will increase from that :)

I found a great head I want printed, so what now?

Step 1 - Simple, fill out the form below, and attach the link

Step 2- I will check it out, making sure it's commercial use

Step 3 - I will purchase the stl file - (You do NOT receive the file)

Step 4 - I run it through my software, slicing the big parts down so my printer can print it, in smaller chunks

Step 5 - You pay the price of the file + the commission fee + postage

Step 6 -  You've paid, I get printing and send it out once hot glued together via Australia Post with a tracking number!

Do you sculpt / design the head?

No, I purchase the files that have a commercial use, this means I can legally print and sell the files using my own 3D Printer

I seen a really cool head file on Esty...

That's fantastic, send me the link and I can print it for you!

Where can I find the files / models?

Easy, simply google "fursuit head stl file (e.g canine)"

The best websites are Etsy, Thingiverse and Cults3D

How long does it take to print / post the head?

Depends on the model some can take 12-20 hours of print time, the average base takes 2-3 days to be printed and ready to post!

+ Once you send a commission form to me, it's a first come rule, if you send me a form, I get back you within 2 days max, however if you ghost me or just wait days to message back... well someone else is getting a head printed first as they paid first

+ Note all eye blanks, teeth, and Noses are NOT attached to the head base, this way you can line / pattern it with ease and attach those parts yourself when required

I have seen jaws that move / talk can you print that?

Yes, those are on elastic and printed in two parts, the top jaw and the lower jaw, for shipping I just use a scarp cord of elastic to tie them together, you will need to purchase elastic to properly attach the head

Lastly I am NOT responsible for you stomping, running over, bowling or doing anything stupid with your head base - treat them with care :)
